Project: Style is the ultimate fashion competition for guys and gals ages 13 and up! From September - December, Charleston Town Center will select 2 trendsetters each month to put their sense of style and fashion to the test by creating the ultimate outfits on us!

It's free and easy to get involved! Simply click here http://www.charlestontowncenter.com/info/projectstyle.cfm, fill out the application and upload an awesome photo/video that shows us your style. Each month, 2 trendsetters will be selected to compete. So, do you think you have what it takes to be our trendsetter?

If you are selected as the trendsetter for the month, you will receive recognition and a $150 Charleston Town Center gift card (cha-ching!), which will be used to complete the next challenge, a shop-till-you-drop experience in creating the ultimate fashion outfit that shows your sense of style! Our chosen trendsetters will submit a 60 second video of their creation that will be posted on our new fashion website, Shoptopia. Members of Shoptopia will vote for their favorite trendsetter, so make sure to join Shoptopia at charlestontowncenter.shoptopia.com and get your friends and family to join too! The monthly winners will be back in January when we host our Project: Style Style-Off for ultimate bragging rights as Charleston Town Center's Fashionista and an additional $500 Charleston Town Center Shopping Spree!

The Twilight Lounge will open again across from Hot Topic near Center Court and feature fav Twilight & New Moon character photos, books, contests, games and more!

Calling all cookie bakers! Enter a baker's dozen of your favorite homemade cookies in our new Christmas Cookie Contest. Categories include bars & brownies, cut-outs, drop, pressed, tassies & tarts, sandwich and sliced. The winner of each category will receive a $50 Mall Gift Card. All category winners will compete to be named Charleston's Best Christmas Cookie and receive a $100 Mall Gift Card. Winning cookie recipes will be published in The Charleston Gazette. The contest is FREE. All cookies will be shared with the public for a small donation to the United Way.

Bring the family and enjoy Santa's Cookie Workshop. Children are invited to decorate cookies, co-sponsored by The Great American Cookie Company. Enjoy seasonal tastings by Starbucks, too.

Christmas Cookie Contest Rules

1. Pre-registration before November 21, 2009 is not required and there is no entry fee. The contest is free.

2. Participants may enter one or more of the following categories. Each entry must contain a Baker's dozen.

     (a) Bars & Brownies

     (b) Cut-outs

     (c) Drop

     (d) Pressed

     (e) Tassies & Tarts

     (f) Sandwich

     (g) Sliced

3. All entries must be made-from-scratch, and baked within 24-hours of the November 21, 2009 contest judging. Purchased refrigerator dough is not accepted. Official judging will take place at noon. The judges will be announced prior to the actual judging.

4. All participants are to bring their Christmas cookies with recipe to Center Court on Saturday, November 21, 2009 between 11:00 a.m. - 11:50 a.m. Recipes must be complete and include baker's full name, address, phone and category entered. Entrants will complete an official entry form and publicity release at that time.

5. All cookie entries are to be submitted in/on a non-returnable container with name of entrant and category noted on the container. Cookie containers will not be returned.

6. Judging begins promptly at noon. Judges will taste one of each cookie entered. The decision of the judges will be final. One winning cookie in each category listed above will receive a prize ribbon and a $50 Charleston Town Center Mall gift card. One Grand Prize Winner will be selected from the category of winners and named "Charleston's Best Christmas Cookie 2009", receiving a prize blue ribbon plus a $100 Charleston Town Center Mall gift card. Winning recipes will appear in an upcoming food-related column in The Charleston Gazette.

7. Immediately following the announcement of the winners, all cookies will be boxed in assortments and made available to the public for a small donation to the United Way of the Kanawha Valley. Donation minimum $1 per dozen, please.
